About us
Barking Good Bakes is a home-based Dog bakery situated in Tauranga. I believe that dogs are part of the family, and also deserve to have their Birthday or Gotcha day celebrated, and that we can spoil our four-legged family members to show them our appreciation of bringing so much love and joy into our lives.
After lots of research and trial-and-error on various recipes, I have finally mastered the perfect cakes & pupcakes to treat our little loves. Our baked goodies are sugar-free, preservative-free and are made from human-grade ingredients, so if we can’t have it, we won’t feed it to your dogs.
Growing up we celebrated our family dog’s birthday every year, and it wasn’t until the end of 2022 I realised a lot of people do! I enjoy baking and absolutely LOVE dogs, and combining the two brings me so much joy!
